Share one account together, or not?

It is possible to share one Monsley online couples counseling program account together. You then both use the same email address and password to log in to Monsley.

Sharing one account is OK;

• We know of couples who like to work together and they like to do so. You can, but you don't have to. You don't have to watch videos simultaneously or do exercises at the same time.
• We ask the participants for the answers to write down the answers to the assignments themselves, for example in a notebook. Both partners can do this for themselves, so you keep this separate from each other, even when you share one account.

We ask participants to enter a 'relationship scan'. This is a self-assessment of your relationship. We ask this at the beginning, in the middle, and at the end of the program. Both partners can complete the scan and note down the answers separately, using a printed form (that can be downloaded in the relevant lesson)

But it has some drawbacks:

The progress status of the program - that is, which lessons have been 'checked off' - are determined by the fastest participant. The slower participant will have to memorize where they've left off.

If one account is shared, then only one email address on record. An intricate part of the program is that we send emails with interesting information. The primary account holder can forward these emails to the other partner so that you both get the most out of the program.

The relationship therapist supports one e-mail address. If you want to email yourself, that is possible. Please indicate in the email which email address belongs to the Monsley account holder.

So why choose a partner account?

Some couples prefer their own partner account. With the partner account, you get exactly the same program, but your partner gets:

more privacy because of own login (email address and password)

their own relationship scan

their own progress indicator

What does a partner account cost and how do I get it?

A partner account is available for a reduced price of €45,- when your partner had purchased a full program. Your partner will receive a welcome mail that includes the link to the online checkout page.
